Since I’m a gadget guy and I have an iPhone AND I’m a P90X addict I HAD to purchase it. Like all things the company behind P90X does, they don’t do things halfway or put out crap that doesn’t work. In this post I’m going to give you the low down on this new P90X app and tell you exactly what this app does, who it’s for, and what I think of it. What The P90X Iphone App Is NOTįirst, the “P90X app” is NOT a replacement for the physical P90X program. You’re not going to get the P90X Fitness Guide, the Nutrition Guide, etc. I know there are going to be people out there thinking “ohhh I can just buy the P90X iPhone app now instead of buying the full program.” If you’re absolutely serious about getting results with P90X, then you need the full program, period! I won’t harp on that point anymore… The Basics Of The P90X App In order to truly get the most out of the program you need these guides and the full program. The P90X iPhone app consists of the Tracking App which is the base of the app. This allows you to track your P90X workouts, schedule workouts, track your measurements, workouts, and pictures, share your progress, and sync your workouts with your Beachbody SuperGym calendar. It also comes with 2 Guided Workouts, the P90X Fit Test, and Ab Ripper X. “Guided Workouts” means exactly what it sounds like. The P90X iPhone app will literally walk you through the workout with a cool video of Tony Horton doing each of the moves.

It has a timer that times the length of the entire workout and a countdown timer for each of the moves. There is also audio with each video by the MAN himself Tony Horton telling you how to do the moves. P90X iPhone App Guided Workout The Cost – P90X iPhone App Here’s a screenshot from the P90X Ab Ripper X Guided workout that I took from my phone. The P90X iPhone app costs $4.99 (which is a little pricey compared to some apps, but for what it does I think it’s worth it). You also can optionally purchase the other P90X Guided Workouts (each P90X DVD is has it’s own Guided workout that you can buy). You can buy the workouts individually, or buy them as a bundle which is where you’ll save the most money.
